Description

Ingredients

  • 500g of shrimp (fresh or frozen)
  • 4 cups of water
  • 2 ripe tomatoes
  • 1 onion
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2 fresh chiles
  • A handful of cilantro
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Juice of 1 lime

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, boil water and add shrimp. Cook for a few minutes until pink.
  2. In a blender, mix tomatoes, onion, garlic, and chiles until smooth.
  3. Add the mixture to the pot with the shrimp broth.
  4. Incorporate cilantro, salt, and pepper to taste. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  5. Serve hot with a squeeze of lime juice.
