Description

Crispy and delicious deep-fried fish bites that are easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb white fish
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Cut the fish into medium-sized irregular pieces.
  2. In a bag, add the flour and the fish pieces. Seal the bag.
  3. Shake the bag to coat the fish well with flour.
  4. Remove excess flour from each piece.
  5. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add enough oil to cover the bottom.
  6. Add the fish. Let it brown on one side before flipping.
  7. Fry until golden and crispy, which takes a few minutes.
  8. Remove and place on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
  9. Immediately add salt and pepper for better adherence.
  10. Serve as a side dish or appetizer with your favorite sauce and lime wedges.

Notes

Avoid using too little oil; it will result in soggy chicharrones. Adjust seasoning immediately after frying.
