- 400 g assorted seafood (shrimp, mussels, scallops)
- 2 shallots, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, finely minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 300 ml liquid fresh cream
- 100 ml dry white wine (optional)
- 1 teaspoon fish stock powder
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prep the Seafood: Rinse the assorted seafood under cold water, clean the mussels if necessary, and peel the shrimp.
- Make the Sauce Base: Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat, add shallots and sauté until soft. Add minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
- Thicken it Up: Sprinkle in the flour and mix well, cooking for about a minute while stirring constantly.
- Deglaze with Wine: Pour in the white wine and let it reduce by half.
- Add the Cream: Stir in fresh cream and fish stock powder, season with salt and pepper, and simmer for 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Time for the Seafood: Carefully add seafood into the sauce and cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish and Serve: Top with freshly chopped parsley and serve hot with your favorite accompaniment.

Serve with tortilla chips, bread, or pasta. Use heavy cream or coconut milk as substitutes for fresh cream.
