Description
This easy oven-baked chicken gnocchi is a flavorful comfort dish that combines tender gnocchi with creamy sauces, making for a perfect gourmet meal with minimal effort.

- 110 grams of shredded mozzarella
- 80 grams of freshly grated parmesan, divided
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 454 grams of uncooked potato gnocchi
- 320 grams of cooked chicken, diced or shredded
- 240 milliliters of low-sodium chicken broth
- 240 milliliters of heavy cream
- 113 grams of cream cheese, softened
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter
Instructions
- Remove cream cheese from the refrigerator one hour early or microwave for a few seconds to soften.
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
- Add the softened cream cheese, heavy cream, and broth. Mix until smooth without increasing heat.
- Add the uncooked gnocchi and cooked chicken into the sauce, stirring for 3 minutes until well coated.
- Stir in half of the grated parmesan and remove from heat.
- Pour the mixture into a 23×33 cm baking dish, smoothing the top.
- Sprinkle the remaining parmesan and all of the mozzarella on top.
- Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
- Let it rest for 5 minutes before seasoning with salt and pepper.
Notes
You can substitute mozzarella with cheddar for a different flavor. If you prefer, use turkey or vegetables instead of chicken.
