- 10 cl leche (milk)
- Sal al gusto (salt to taste)
- Pimienta al gusto (pepper to taste)
- 1 pizca pimentón (optional paprika)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Gradually add the flour while stirring with a wooden spoon.
- Cook the roux for 1-2 minutes but don’t let it brown.
- Slowly whisk in the milk, stirring continuously.
- Incorporate the thick cream and stir until combined.
- Throw in the shredded cheddar cheese and mix until melted.
- Season with salt, pepper, and optional paprika.
- Serve immediately with hot fries.
