Description

A quick and elegant appetizer made with canned tuna, cream cheese, and fresh herbs, perfect for impressing guests.


Ingredients

  • 300 g canned tuna in water (about 2 cans)
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 2 tablespoons crème fraîche
  • 1 tablespoon capers (rinsed and drained)
  • 1 clove garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 lemon (juice only)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil (chopped)
  • Q.S. salt and pepper (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Drain the tuna and add it to a food processor.
  2. Add the cream cheese, crème fraîche, capers, garlic, lemon juice, and basil.
  3. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer to a container, cover, and refrigerate for at least one hour.
  6. Serve with toasted bread, crackers, or veggies.

Avoid overmixing and ensure the tuna is well-drained to prevent sogginess. Chill for best flavor.
