Description
Delicious marinated chicken sautéed with fresh vegetables and soy sauce, perfect for a quick weeknight meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 500 grams chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh ginger to taste
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken by cutting 500 grams of chicken breast into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
- In a bowl, combine the chicken with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, salt, and pepper to taste. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- In a large skillet, heat a bit of oil over medium heat. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and fresh ginger to taste, and sauté until fragrant.
- Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and cook until all pieces are browned and cooked through, about 8 to 10 minutes.
- Add 1 sliced carrot, 1 sliced red bell pepper, and 1 chopped onion to the skillet. Sauté the vegetables with the chicken for about 5 minutes until tender but still crisp.
- Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.
Notes
Marinate longer for more intense flavors. Serve with steamed rice or in lettuce wraps for variation.
