Description

Delicious marinated chicken sautéed with fresh vegetables and soy sauce, perfect for a quick weeknight meal.


Ingredients

  • 500 grams chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh ginger to taste
  • 1 carrot, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by cutting 500 grams of chicken breast into bite-sized pieces for even cooking.
  2. In a bowl, combine the chicken with 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, salt, and pepper to taste. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  3. In a large skillet, heat a bit of oil over medium heat. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and fresh ginger to taste, and sauté until fragrant.
  4. Add the marinated chicken to the skillet and cook until all pieces are browned and cooked through, about 8 to 10 minutes.
  5. Add 1 sliced carrot, 1 sliced red bell pepper, and 1 chopped onion to the skillet. Sauté the vegetables with the chicken for about 5 minutes until tender but still crisp.
  6. Remove from heat and serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.

Notes

Marinate longer for more intense flavors. Serve with steamed rice or in lettuce wraps for variation.
