Description

Crispy, cheesy, and utterly delicious chicken dish that’s easy to prepare and perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, halved lengthwise
  • 75 g grated Parmesan cheese, used in two moments
  • 50 g grated Provolone cheese
  • 85 g unsalted butter, melted and divided
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt (more to taste)
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper (to taste)
  • 30 g Panko breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
  2. Cook the chicken breasts on a hot grill for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
  3. In a small bowl, combine 60 g of melted butter, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Brush the chicken with the butter and spice mixture generously.
  5. Top the chicken with the mixed cheeses when flipping, cooking until they reach an internal temperature of 74°C (165°F).
  6. In a bowl, mix the Panko with the remaining Parmesan and melted butter to achieve a wet mixture.
  7. Sprinkle the Panko mixture evenly on each piece of chicken.
  8. Place the coated chicken on a lined baking tray and set the oven to broil on high.
  9. Broil, keeping a close eye on them until the top is crispy and golden.
  10. Allow to rest for about five minutes before serving.

Notes

Don’t forget to preheat the oven and be generous with the seasoning for best results.
