  • 250 ml heavy cream
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts (approximately 700 g)
  • 1 cup sliced pepperoncinis
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare your kitchen: Measure and arrange all ingredients within reach. Chop the garlic and slice the pepperoncinis.
  2. Heat the oil: Place the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Cook the chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides. Cook for 6-7 minutes per side until golden, then remove and keep warm.
  4. Sauté the garlic: In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add liquids: Pour in the chicken broth and cream, scraping the bottom to release all the flavors.
  6. Add pepperoncinis: Stir in the sliced pepperoncinis and simmer for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  7. Return the chicken: Place the chicken back in the skillet, spooning sauce over to coat, and cook for another 2-3 minutes on low heat.
  8. Serve hot: Serve immediately with extra sauce on top if desired.
