- 6 ripe tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 jalapeño pepper
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro
- 1 lime, juiced
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place tomatoes, onion, garlic, and jalapeño on a baking sheet.
- Roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes until lightly charred.
- Let cool, then chop roughly.
- In a bowl, mix the roasted ingredients with cilantro, lime juice, and salt.
- Serve with tortilla chips or as a topping for tacos.
