Ingredients

- 2 cups fresh pineapple, diced
- 1/2 red onion, finely chopped
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- Juice of 2 limes
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the diced pineapple, red onion, jalapeño, and cilantro. Mix well.
- Squeeze the juice of the limes over the mixture.
- Add salt to taste and mix again.
- Toss everything together until well combined.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for 30 minutes to let the flavors meld.
Notes
Fresh pineapple is recommended for the best flavor. Letting the salsa chill enhances the taste.
