A delightful and easy-to-make dessert featuring a crispy base topped with creamy filling and fresh strawberries.

- 1 pâte sablée
- 150 g fresas frescas
- 250 ml leche
- 1 yema de huevo
- 30 g azúcar
- 20 g maicena
- 1 vaina de vainilla
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and spread the pâte sablée in a tart pan, gently pricking the base with a fork.
- Bake the base for 15 minutes until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, heat the milk with the split vanilla bean over medium heat.
- In a bowl, whisk the egg yolk with sugar and cornstarch until smooth.
- Slowly pour the hot milk into the egg mixture while whisking continuously.
- Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
- Once cooled, spread the custard over the baked crust.
- Wash and halve the strawberries, then decorate the top of the cream.
- Refrigerate the tart for at least one hour before serving.
Notes
Make sure the milk is hot when mixing to avoid curdling. Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor.
